Description

Also known as Mimulus repens, this cushion-like plant grows in winter-wet swamps in full or partial sun. Each flower is rose, white and pink. This slowly increasing plant grows well around the edges of a pond and flowers as the soil dries out a little in Spring.

Advice

Planting

Plant in moist soil such as around the edges of a pond. If planted half-under a shrub the leaves are less likely to shrivel over Winter.

Maintenance

If the leaves shrivel over Winter, do not prune. New leaves will grow along the leafless stems in Spring.
