Description
The narrow, strap-like leaves are very tough, giving it the name Iron Grass in South Australia. It likes in full sun or light shade. Its blue-green leaves grow in a fan-like clump. The flower spikes are about the same height as the leaves and are usually yellow though some can be purplish. Individual plants are either male or female, only identifiable when in flower.
Can be difficult to get. Local golf courses like this plant for its easy care and low structural look.
